CHILDREN AND YOUTH
At Ormewood Church we believe everyone should be fully embraced as a part of the community from the day they are born until the day they move on. We try to live into this commitment with our kids and youth, making this church community a place designed with them in mind. Take a look below at how we make this happen.

On Sunday mornings we have three ways your kids can engage. They can sit with you! That's always an option in our community. We also have a kid's area set up in the worship space with tables, drawing supplies, and an adult friend so kids can stick around, but also have age appropriate activities to keep them engaged. Every Sunday we offer childcare to the young ones (birth-4/5yo) who aren't quite interested in hanging out with us upstairs. In childcare they play, do art, and read books related to the scripture story of the day.
YOUTH (6TH-HIGH SCHOOL)
This summer we had a blast floating the Chattahoochee and playing pinball. For the fall we're having monthly youth group where kids will play, learn, and grow in friendship with each other and God. 7-8:30 on 9/15, 10/20, and 11/10.
We'll also be celebrating the season on December 8 with a Christmas Party!
PROGRAMS AND ADVENTURES
Every Christmas season and Valentine's Day we offer a low-cost Parent's Morning/Evening out for the entire neighborhood. Be on the lookout for our sign-up. Spots go fast!
Summer means Creative Camp! This is a one week summer camp focused on God's creativity in the world and our participation in it! Camp runs one week in June and offers aftercare.
We're on the lookout for a Children's Ministry Director. Our Leadership Team is building the church's 4 year strategic plan right now and kids are one of our central priorities. More soon on this job and our vision.
